There’s a book that sits by my bed, always. It’s part anchor, part chocolate. Something I dip into to find thoughts to hold onto when I need a hand, or more. It’s called The Happiness Project, by Gretchen Rubin.
I met Gretchen last year at Mighty Summit and have loved all the times we’ve spent together since. She’s as funny as she is professor — the best combination. So when Gretchen, Isabel, Maggie and I were having lunch a couple of months ago in NYC and Gretchen was wondering what she should do for the launch of her new book, Happier at Home, it only took 2.3 secs for us to agree that the Go Mighty team should make that happen.
Because it takes a party to share a party, we’ve doled out the happy tasks:
Laura Mayes is sharing what we ate, drank and how we partied pretty.
Amber Doty is offering a wrap on our gifts and treats (thank you Bliss, Anthropologie and Diebolt-Vallois “Cuvèe
Prestige” NV Brut Blanc de Blancs, for the Champagne.
I’m snapshots of the people.
And Sheri Silver is behind all the snapshots. Thank you!
Stacey Ferguson and Wendi Aarons. I’m honored that Stacey asked me to speak at Blogalicious this year. Can’t wait!
The party’s not over!
Check out Laura’s post on what we ate, drank and ooh and ahhed over.
Enjoy Amber’s wrap on our beautiful gifts.
